Coloured 100% Cotton

Wash heavy colours e.g crimson, brown, etc. separately for the first few washes. Wash in the normal manner using a good quality detergent. Washing at a temperature of 60C (140F) will usually be found to be sufficient. 100% Polyester

Do not mix 100% Polyester Cloth with Polyester/cotton or 100% Cotton. Wash whites separate from coloureds. Do not overload the machine. Fill up to two thirds of the manufacturers recommended level. Use good quality detergents. OBA free detergents may be found beneficial for coloureds, especially pastel shades. Most staining will be removed at a temperature of 55-60C (140F). The use of a cool down period for temperatures in excess of 60 (140F) will reduce the thermal shock effect and minimise creasing. Keep extraction time to a minimum. Wash dark colours separately.

Tumble Drying

Do not overload dryer fill to half the manufacturers rating to minimalise creasing. Use dryer temperature in region of 70C-80C (160-180F). Do not overdry . Use a cool down period on dryer allowing cloth and walls of dryer to completely cool down before stopping the machine. Always remove cloth promptly on completion of cycle. Lay cloth flat and fold.

Colour Care Plus

This is a stain remover and a safe alternative to Chlorine Bleach. If problems are found in the removal of oily/greasy type stains, use a good Non Ionic detergent in the main wash at the higher temperatures.
